I love the DSi because it has web access, can take photos, holds songs and video. I even play with it once in a while when I can wrestle it away from my son. The Nerf covers work wonders for protecting the DS (and DSi) from rough handling, I would totally recommend them to anyone. The pens are definitely an issue here too, I just have a spot where we keep stylus pens. When he can't find one he knows where to look.
