Find Cheap Zhu Zhu Pets for Christmas

Don’t give up on finding a cheap Zhu Zhu pet for Christmas. We just got one for $9.99. (Shh. Don’t tell the kids.) I wasn’t planning to get one and had all of my Christmas shopping done some time ago. Then, our beloved Gordon 12 (I think it is a race car driver’s number. He was the first Gordon.) died at the ripe old hamster age of two and a half. On top of that, someone needed a gift for a Christmas family and I gave them one of ours so they didn’t have to go shopping on a Friday night and ordered a replacement from Kmart.com. They canceled my order because they were out of stock.

So, we decided on an afternoon trip to Toys R Us to pick up the replacement toy and asked about the Zhu Zhu pets almost as a lark because of all the “show up at the crack of dawn to get a coupon” hype. They had several of two different models in stock at list price. I hope some other shoppers looking for these little robotic critters asked at the service desk, too, instead of going with an online site offering them for $16.99 to $29.95 each!
